Effectively and fairly responding to any complaints, feedback and grievances is integral to the Sunday Assembly Brisbane Management Committee. We aim to resolve any grievances quickly to ensure peace of mind for all involved, but to ensure that this does not impact on the quality or fairness of any resolution reached. We use all complaints, feedback and grievances to further improve the Sunday Assembly Brisbane and to encourage continued growth of our community.

If you have a complaint, feel that you’ve been treated unfairly or any type of feedback in regards to Sunday Assembly, we encourage you to let us know. You can do this in a number of ways:

1. Verbal Feedback:

a. Contact any member of the Management Committee that you’re comfortable talking to and let them know the details of the feedback or complaint. This committee member will become your contact person. You can find their contact details on our website.
b. The committee member may organise a time to meet with you to discuss this further in person.
c. In conjunction with you, the details of the complaint will be drawn up and submitted to the next Management Committee meeting (held approximately every 3 weeks).
(If the matter involves criminal or serious wrongdoing, it may be referred outside of the organisation for appropriate response.)
d. The management committee will investigate the complaint and respond to you in writing within three weeks to advise you what action has been taken in response to the complaint.
e. If you do not believe that this satisfactorily responds to the complaint, then you can ask the committee to reconsider their response. If you are satisfied with the response to the grievance please advise your committee contact person.
f. If after reconsidering the grievance you are still not happy with the outcome, the matter will be taken to the Dispute Resolution Branch for Mediation to find an appropriate outcome.
g. At the end of this procedure some brief information will be held in our records to ensure that Sunday Assembly Brisbane can grow and learn from the information that you have supplied to us.
